Why a studio sells t-shirts
Because bands ask for them. A record takes months and then it is a file; people who spent that time in a room want something they can hold that says where it was made.
And because the marquee is a good logo. It came off a Sixth Street club that closed in 1999 and it means something specific to anyone who was there. That story is here.
Everything is printed on demand. Nothing is manufactured in bulk against a guess about which sizes will sell, so nothing ends up in a landfill because the guess was wrong.
The trade-off is honest: made-to-order takes longer to arrive than something already boxed. If you need it by a date, order early or call and ask.
Sizing and fit
The tees are 100% combed and ring-spun cotton at 4.2 oz per square yard, pre-shrunk, side-seamed, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping. Heather colours contain some polyester. They fit like a normal modern tee rather than a boxy one — if you are between sizes and want room, size up.
Common questions
How long does an order take?
Longer than something pulled off a shelf, because it is made after you order it. If you need it by a specific date, call the studio and ask before you order.
Why print on demand instead of in bulk?
Bulk printing means guessing which sizes and colours will sell and throwing away the ones that did not. Made-to-order costs a few days and wastes nothing.
Can I buy merch at the studio?
Call (512) 522-0359 and ask what is in the building. Ordering online is the reliable route.
Do you ship outside Texas?
Yes. It ships from the printer rather than from South Austin, so distance matters less than you would think.
